(06/26/2014) - July Independance Swiss FIDE rated. FIDE rules in effect

The July Independence Day Swiss is FIDE rated for the Open section. New FIDE rules let you get a FIDE rating with only five games versus FIDE rated players over 26 months, as long as you score at least 1/2 a point. Also, we will need to use FIDE rules. The club will not enforce the "zero tolerance" rule, meaning players can still be up to 1 hour late for their games. Also, we will not forfeit anyone who has a cell phone in the playing room.
