(11/28/2013) - 2014 Championships points standings updated.
The race for the coveted spots in the 2014 MetroWest Chess Club Championship invitational tournaments is close for both the Open and Class (under 2000) sections. The top six in each section who earn the most championship points during 2013, and who accept their invitations, will play in April 2014.

(11/28/2013) - December tournament will be a three (3) round swiss
Because the fourth and fifth Tuesdays of December fall on Christmas and New Year's Eve respectively, December's MetroWest Chess Club's tournament will be shortened to a three round swiss. The rounds will be on December 3, 10, and 17. The prize fund and Championship points available will be set at the usual levels for a four round tournament.

(09/30/2013) - No Online Registration for October Swiss
Due to a series of rare circumstances, there will not be Online Registration for October's "Trick or Treat Swiss." Online registration will return next month for the November "Thanksgiving Swiss." Please arrive well before 7:20 PM if you want to register onsite, or call the club's phone number BEFORE 7:00 PM to register by phone.
